RFT President Rosemary Thurston called the meeting to order on 06/05/06 at 4:08 PM in the Library Boeing Classroom (C-204).
There were no RFT Executive Board meetings held on 4/10/06 or 05/01/06 due to the lack of a quorum.
The minutes from the 03/13/06 Executive Board meeting were approved.
The motion passed to conduct a RFT General Membership breakfast meeting on 06/30/06. Kinsey Fobes will make the necessary arrangements and notify the membership.
Brian Thompson will make arrangements to conduct the election of new officers at the 06/30/06 general membership meeting. Absentee ballots will be available.
Glenda Hanson gave a treasurer's report.
The motion passed to approve the new membership form. The form will be distributed at the next general membership meeting on 06/30/06.
The AFT national convention will be held in Boston on 07/19-23/06.
There was a discussion about the possibility of having all faculty use the new recertification process.
A 2.8% COLA was approved by the legislature.
