Vice-President Tami Rable called the RFT General Membership meeting to order on 06/30/06 at 7:35 AM in the RTC Cafeteria.
There were 36 members who signed the attendance sign-in sheets. AFT-Washington President Sandra Schroeder was also in attendance.
The minutes from the 03/31/06 General Membership meeting were approved.
Tami and Nancy Adkins will be delegates to the AFT national convention in Boston from 07/19-23/06.
Tami gave a progress report on the online attendance software which will be used by all instructors starting Fall Quarter 2006.
Glenda Hanson gave a treasurer's report.
The motion passed to take the 2.8% COLA as funded by the legislature, effective 07/01/06.
New membership forms were distributed for completion.
Sandra Schroeder encouraged members to be involved in AFT Washington by signing up for the GetActive email mailing list and to support AFT Washington's political agenda for contributing to COPE. For more information, visit AFT Washington's website at http://wa.aft.org
